Description
The Innova DX Valkyrie has long been one of the most popular and longest distance drivers in the game. Since its release in August of 2000 the Valkyrie has been ruling the air for players of all skill levels. This disc held the record for nearly 10 years as the furthest flying disc, thrown 820 feet by Christian Sandstrom back in 2002.
The flight path of the Valkyrie is dependent on how you want to use it. It's moderately flippy, so players with low arm speeds are going to get good turn and distance right away. If you throw it on a hyzer you're going to enjoy the Valkyrie flipping up to flat and hyzering out, this hyzer flip is a way to get amazing distance. An advanced player with high arm speed will be able to get the Valkyrie to be a roller. That shot takes branches out of the equation and can lead to monster drives. The Valkyrie can be thrown with a forehand or backhand grip, either works well with this disc. There's not as much glide with this disc, so you'll want to throw it where you want it to land, not expect the disc to glide to its final destination. This disc is sometimes referred to as a "Valk" so don't get confused by other players. You'll love throwing this turnover disc and seeing how you can shape the shot.
DX Plastic is the base plastic from Innova. At trainzwholesale we make sure to keep our prices low and competitive, because we know you're going to throw these discs. DX is great because it comes in the widest variety of weight, if you want something light that may not be offered in another plastic like champion, pro, gstar, or star, take a look at DX. It also beats in much faster making the disc more understable. That will give a player more turn in the flight of their disc.
If you want a distance driver that's available at a great price, can handle a variety of shots, will beat in quickly, and fly how you want it to. Take a look at the DX Valkyrie from Innova, it's definitely got a spot in your bag.
