Description

The Innova DX Skeeter Disc Golf Mid-Range is a very straight flying disc. While older runs had a point on the flight plate, the newer runs have a much softer ridge for additional glide in the flight. The Skeeter has been been stinging baskets from far away since 2006.

The flight path of the Skeeter is remarkably straight. It's an excellent choice for backhand throwers who want a disc that can fly and glide down tunnels. It's primarily a disc used for 100-200 feet, because it does need a little speed to get going. The Skeeter can also be used to hold hyzer or anhyzer lines when thrown on angle. It's a disc that beginner players will love to learn on, and experienced players will love to manipulate and shot shape with. The Skeeter has high glide and will carry to the basket, especially if it's in a lower weight. These discs fly dependably and accurately, if your Skeeter is turning or fading at the end of the flight you've thrown it on a non flat release angle. This is a perfect disc to develop your flat throwing skill on, the Skeeter won't lie to you about being level.

DX plastic from Innova is their baseline blend. It's available at the lowest price and is available in a wide variety of weights and colors. It's going to get a little chewed up on trees, rocks, and metal, but it's an excellent choice for the Skeeter because you're not throwing this as hard as you can. The Skeeter is a slow straight flyer and you want those little nicks and dings to give you additional grip.

The Innova DX Skeeter can be used for drives from the tee on shorter par 3's, but it excels when you need something that has a straighter finish or slight hyzer/anhyzer and under 250 feet. See why players of all skill levels are throwing the Skeeter.
