Description

The Innova DX Manta is an understable disc golf midrange that offers players a slow turning shot with low arm speed. It's a beveled edge mid that still has high glide so look for this disc to carry while it's got that anhyzer turn for most of the flight. The Manta has a large bead on the bottom as well.

The flight path of the DX Manta is going to be mostly straight for the first half of the flight, then the disc will flip over and ride the anhyzer angle until it pans out to flat and comes to rest. If you're struggling with a forehand this is absolutely a disc you should consider throwing because it won't fade out like many other discs. The Manta can be thrown on touch sidearm shots but it's going to require lots of practice to get good with that particular shot. Try the Manta in the woods where you need something slow to turn or for shot shaping as well. The range on this disc is about 100-250 feet, anything shorter and it won't have the energy and speed necessary to turn. Anything further than that and you'll find the Manta won't be a moderate turn, but a cut roller.

DX plastic from Innova is their baseline blend. It's excellent for the Manta because you're throwing this disc with finesse, not ripping it into trees down the fairway. It will get little dings in the smooth finish to give you extra grip when you're throwing.

The Manta came around in 2017 and it fit that spot where people need something for holding a slow anny shot the whole way. It's a disc that doesn't take a lot of power to get going and can be thrown by experienced players or new players alike. See why you want something slow and understable in your bag by picking up a Manta today!
