Product Description
The Innova Star Jay is a stable midrange with plenty of glide. It's got a microbead that you're not going to notice with your hands. It's a little domey and at 21.7cm it's a slightly wide mid to hold in your hands. You can rely on the Jay for straight shots that have a consistent tick of hyzer at the end of the flight.
The flight path of the Jay is very straight. Comparing it to other Innova mids is pretty easy, it fits somewhere in between the straightness of a Mako3 and it's got the finish of a beat in Roc. As a 5 speed disc this is throwable by anyone who reaches 100 feet consistently. You can use this disc when you need a reliable hyzer shot in the 100-250 foot range. The Jay is perfect for when you want something that fits comfortably in that straight to stable mid role. It doesn't have as much glide as other mids, so throw it where you want it to end up. The Jay is a great choice for tunnel shots and any time you want something reliable. It does handle the torque of a softer forehand well, and a backhand very well.
