Flight path

Disclaimer:
The illustrated disc flight line is based on the manufacturer
field testing results, during its development process. So,
to level the playing field we chose to put a different spin on
things for such visual illustrations. Sticking to the manufacturer's test results will offer you a good baseline for how that
particular disc will fly.
Product Description
The Innova Champion Glow Kat Mertsch XCaliber is an incredibly overstable disc golf distance driver. If you need a disc that will never turn and still gets good distance, this is the choice for you. It excels in both forehand and backhand shots, and is chosen by players who throw in windy conditions, want a flex shot disc, or need something for big skips. The Sabertooth tiger on the front is amazing, it's fierce and the claws are massive. What also rocks about this disc other than the stamp is that it glows in the dark!
The flight path of the XCaliber (often called the XCal) is going to be overstable from the moment it leaves your hand. It's got a wide rim and a little bit of a heartbeat for glide. The XCal is a longer Firebird but with a wider rim and domey top. Use it for those shots when you have to fade a certain way and can't afford any turn. This disc is definitely made for the advanced player in mind, if you're not throwing 300+ feet consistently the XCaliber will be a utility disc that dumps even harder than it's supposed to. This disc is not for maximum distance, but for ultimate control. It's a big arms dream to crush a disc as hard as they can. This distance driver is perfect for headwinds and for sidearm bombs. You won't pull the Xcaliber out on every hole, but when you need it, it will fade.
Champion Glow plastic from Innova is a premium blend that's going to last you a long time. It holds up well to tree hits and keeps those same flight characteristics. Glow plastic is slightly softer than regular champion and has a little more tacky grip to it as well. It's perfect for the Xcal because you want something stable to grip and rip.
The Innova Champion Glow XCaliber Kat Mertsch is awesome. Confident throwers can rip this disc fast and still get all the fade they need in a disc. But it's also awesome because this disc helps support Kat Mertsch as she travels competing on the Disc Golf Pro Tour with Team Innova. You get a disc that handles lots of torque and looks awesome, and you support a fellow disc golfer. So snag one of these discs today and see why it's in the bag of a touring pro!
