According to this famed disc golf artist, the Headless Horseman never had a human head but was born with an actual orange gourd atop his shoulders. His love for fresh corn led to an epic showdown with the local corn guardians, who later became known as scarecrows (no need to fact check that!). In a dramatic twist, the Horseman lost his seed-filled head during this fateful confrontation.

The Innova R Pro Limited Edition War Toro is an overstable approach disc with a gummy feel to it. This disc is an absolutely essential part of your approach game. It's beefy and gets down to the ground quickly. It handles the strong forehand torque you might exert on it and will still not flip over. The stamp features a horned beast, armored and armed with a large mace. This stamp gives that old school D&D Innova art vibes. It's a classic Marm o. Set.

The flight path of the Toro is going to be overstable and dumpy pretty quickly. It's that go to disc inside 150 feet when you want to be pinpoint accurate with your forehand or backhand upshots. The gummy feel from the R Pro plastic is going to give you a hint more glide and less overstability than this disc has in Star or Champion blend, but it's still a whole lot of beef. Throw the Toro flat for a straight shot with a quick fade, or throw it on a little anhyzer for a soft flex shot.

R Pro plastic from Innova is somewhere in between a baseline and premium blend of plastic. It's going to be very grippy and tacky in the hand, and on warm days a little floppy. It's excellent for absorbing the energy from the approach and dying right where you hit the ground.

The Innova R Pro Toro is an overstable, floppy approach disc. If you're looking for something that's not stiff like the Innova Pig or Innova Champion Toro, try the R Pro War Toro and get a sweet looking limited edition stamp.

Co-developed by Innova disc designer Dave Dunipace and Star Team member Calvin Heimburg, the Toro is a small-diameter, beadless, overstable Mid-range that fills a gap in the Innova lineup. Perfect for forehand approach shots, short-distance S-curves, slow-panning anhyzers, and a range of utility shots, the Toro is our most overstable, least gliding Mid-range at its speed. It can be thrown flat at full power with no concern of the disc flipping over. With so little glide, the Toro is extremely reliable for upshots. Its overstability gives the disc a predictable finish, but its slow speed allows it to check up nicely on greens where a faster disc might skip away. With a flat-top and low-profile, the Toro is similar to a Rat, but even more overstable.

The Innova Champion Toro Calvin Heimburg Signature Series is a very overstable approach disc. It doesn't glide, it doesn't flip, it's a little meathook that you can rely on for short, accurate, hyzer approaches. The Toro is an excellent choice for the advanced player who wants something they can throw forehand or backhand 50-150 feet to get up and down with.

The flight path of the Toro is going to be very overstable. This disc will travel straight for a moment in the air before it starts to hyzer out and get down to the ground. This mid is one of very few discs with a positive turn number, it's never going to turn for you no matter how hard you throw it. The Toro fits into that approach disc slot very well for the advanced or pro player. You want something that won't fly far and has that easy hyzer feel to it the second you release the disc. It's not going to have lots of variation from shot to shot, you can trust this disc to do the heavy lifting in the approach department.

Champion plastic from Innova is a premium blend of plastic. It's the most durable thing that Innova offers so you will still be throwing your Toro on that perfect hyzer dump line for years to come. Even if you spend your rounds hitting this disc into trees and metal, it's still going to produce those overstable shots time after time.
