The Innova Champion Firebird Disc Golf Distance Driver is a control disc. It's not designed for distance but to be an overstable disc that you can rely on in strong wind, and can be thrown forehand, backhand, or overhand with equal use.

The flight path of the Firebird depends on how hard you throw it. It's a 9 speed that you can throw as hard as you want. When thrown with lots of power it can fly straight for a time before hyzering out. If you throw it on an anhyzer it will be a flex shot. And if you release it on hyzer then it will hyzer the whole time before skipping. It has a wide rim which makes it ideal for skip shots. The Firebird is a utility disc that leads to some great and interesting shots. It's the disc that helped Nate Sexton become the 2017 EURGC champion.
