The Innova Champion Destroyer is a legendary disc. This driver is popular with players of all skill levels, all over the planet. It has a consistent flight path and can get great distance for the sidearm or backhand player. At least one of this high speed driver belongs in every players bag.
The shape is mostly flat with a little dome. They have wide rims, this is where discs start to be referred to as a wide rimmed driver. It helps with stabilizing the disc when thrown at higher speeds. The flight of the Destroyer changes slightly over time. When thrown right off the rack it's going to fly straight and then fade. After it's hit a few trees the disc will have some early turn in the flight. This will help with shot shaping and be the flight path the disc will have most of its life. It's going to be stable to overstable, and the disc will have plenty of glide.
Champion plastic is the most durable that Innova offers, it's hard and doesn't flex in the hand even on warm day. The reason you choose champion plastic over others is that you want something that's going to last for a very long time, it's more durable than star and just as high a quality disc. You're more likely to lose the disc than to find it's not flying right anymore. Champion is a premium plastic, so it's double the price that DX costs, but you'll find it lasts way more than twice as long.
So if you're looking for a disc you'll be throwing for a very long time. And you want to throw S-curves, or have a consistent throw, you need to get yourself a Destroyer today.
