The Innova GStar Boss is an overstable high speed big rim distance driver. It's everything you know and love, something that when you put in your hands, you know is meant to bomb 375+ feet with.
The flight path of the Boss is very stable to overstable. At the end of the flight it will always flex back and fade out which makes it reliable no matter the wind or distance. The Boss is recommended for advanced players who have a fair amount of power as it is a 13 speed disc. It's a great choice for players who throw forehand or backhand shots, and the -1 turn and 3 fade is a great combination of distance and control. This may become your go to driver for controlled drives where you still want some turn out of the disc. Keep in mind with a wide rimmed driver like the Boss that ground play is a factor and when it hits the ground it will skip. So lay your shot a little bit wider on the approach when throwing the Boss.
GStar plastic is grippy and a fantastic blend for the Boss. You want something that's fairly durable and will still have that consistent fade you're looking for. GStar plastic is a little more flippy right out of the box so you won't have to season your disc as much for turn. Pros and amateurs alike love GStar for not getting as beefy in the cold weather. It's something that you can throw year round.
The GStar boss is a driver that you can throw with maximum power and have great distance but still control your disc. If you're looking for something to crush, these discs are a great choice. Snag one today and see why some of the top distance throwers choose a Boss as their go to disc.

The Innova Champion Blizzard Boss is a lightweight stable to overstable max distance driver. A lightweight Boss is the longest flying disc in the history of disc golf, it can handle the power you put into it. Blizzard discs have the same plastic as Champion, but with micro air bubbles in the rim to take away the weight. If your disc is 140 grams or fewer, it's going to float. Try holding it underwater and watching it pop back up!
The flight path of the Boss is straight with a long slow hyzer finish. It's a disc that has a domey top and will always hyzer out. If you're able to get lots of juice into your throw you may see some high speed turn, that's why many players prefer the blizzard plastic because at lighter weights it's easier to get up to speed and have a little extra turn and distance. The Boss has a wide rim and when thrown flat you can expect it to have a big sideways skip at the end of the flight, so make sure you hang it out a little wider than other distance drivers. The Boss handles the torque of forehand throws very well and is a great choice for backhand players. If you're throwing 350+ feet consistently it's time to try out a Boss.
Champion Blizzard plastic is a very durable and lightweight plastic from Innova. It's going to take a lot of tree hits to beat in your Blizzard Boss and it's going to keep the same overstable flight characteristics for a long time. This plastic is a great choice for people who love high speed molds but don't have high speed arms.
The Blizzard Boss will absolutely crush when you get it up to speed. It's that wide rim high speed disc meant for pure distance and a long stable hyzer finish. But it's easier to turn than a regular champ boss which is why players love it. Snag this disc and get the distance and fade you've been looking for.

The Innova DX Boss is great for players who want to try an overstable driver out. It's perfect for headwinds, players who throw with lots of power, and short flex shots.
If you're looking for the flight path of the Boss it's going to be look like an L. For the most part this disc will stay straight, the -1 turn doesn't mean it will turn for very long. In fact most of the time time the Boss will just fly straight until it runs low on power. That's when the disc will fade out and forward. The Boss is a distance driver but not for max distance. It's about controlling which side of the fairway you land on and still getting pretty great distance.
The DX Boss is the least overstable Boss of all the plastics. In this form it will beat up fairly quickly, but that will give this disc more turn and distance. It's a lower price because as it hits trees or rocks it will take some dings and chips along the way.
This disc comes in many different weights and colors. One of the appealing parts to the DX Boss is how useful it can be in different weights. At max weight it's great for control, at 150g it's perfect for a little extra distance mixed with a reliable fade.
This is also the mold that David Wiggins threw when he achieved the World Distance record of 1108 feet. He used a different plastic, but a low weight boss was his choice for furthest flight.

The Innova Star Boss is an overstable distance driver that's meant to take high speed arms to the next level.
The Boss is the mold that holds the maximum distance record, it's made for big arms to throw. This disc is equally good for the sidearm and backhand player. When you're holding the Boss you'll find the rim is pretty wide, this makes it stable and an excellent disc if you need a skip shot for any reason. The fade is similar to the Innova Destroyer no matter if it's thrown forehand or backhand. This disc want to turn for a short moment early in the flight and then have a hard fade. If you find that the disc is only fading and not going straight or turning it means that it's too high a speed for you, try something less like a Wraith. The glide is great on a boss, you can really feel the way the air is moving underneath the disc after you throw. You'll be able to see the 5 glide in action if you have a good release. This disc is great in headwinds where it will fight the wind for you and not flip over.
The Star plastic is premium plastic. It keeps these bosses having their flight characteristics for a while and it's durable. The grip from star plastic is great, and it's slightly more flexible than champion, and will turn more.
So if you're looking for a reliable high speed max distance driver that will add great stability to your disc golf game. Grab a Boss, boss.

The Innova Star Boss 2021 Alex Russell Tour Series Disc Golf Distance Driver is an amazing high speed disc that can handle your crushing capabilities. This is Alex's Tour Series disc, and just like last season he's kept the artwork minimal, letting the Boss be the star.
The flight path of the Boss is straight right out of the hand, you'll need lots of power to get this disc to work. If you're throwing 350+ feet this is an excellent choice. After the disc starts to lose some steam it will begin to hyzer out. If you're throwing this disc less than 350 feet it's going to hyzer almost right out of your hand. With the wide rim and flat top, this disc is perfect for skip shots. Make sure to leave a little extra room for your disc to skip when it lands. The Boss can handle the extra torque put on it by forehand players, and it works very well as a backhand disc as well. It's a step up in speed from the Destroyer, so if you find you're flipping that disc consider a Boss for your bag.
Star Plastic is a premium blend from Innova. It's durable and can last for years but it still beats in well. It's grippy and the choice for most top level pros as their driving plastic.

The Innova Champion Boss is a fast overstable distance driver that will find a way into your bag quickly. It's reliable, durable, and can be thrown in the woods or wide open fields. The stabililty of a boss is never in question, it's perfect for headwinds and no wind situations.
The flight path of the champion boss depends on who is throwing it. A power player will be able to make this disc go straight until it loses power and then it will fade. Someone with a slower arm speed will find that this disc (RHBH) goes almost immediately left. If you're finding that the disc doesn't travel a great distance, try choosing a disc with a lower speed.
Glide is important on any disc, but on the boss it's one of it's best features. As the Boss begins to fade it will continue moving forward. With the large rim that it has, it will likely skip forward and to the side as well. The Boss can be thrown by sidearm and backhand players alike.
The plastic changes this disc, in the Champion plastic the turn is a 0. The Boss won't turn until you've broken it in for a number of years. This makes it great for when you're bending around an obstacle, or want to be sure to be on one side of the fairway.
For the price of going to see a movie you can get a disc that you'll have a stable relationship with for years! Get yourself a nice Champion Boss today.
