Star Toro - Overstable Approach/Mid

Co-developed by Innova disc designer Dave Dunipace and Star Team member Calvin Heimburg, the Toro is a small-diameter, beadless, overstable Mid-range that fills a gap in the Innova lineup. Perfect for forehand approach shots, short-distance S-curves, slow-panning anhyzers, and a range of utility shots, the Toro is our most overstable, least gliding Mid-range at its speed. It can be thrown flat at full power with no concern of the disc flipping over. With so little glide, the Toro is extremely reliable for upshots. Its overstability gives the disc a predictable finish, but its slow speed allows it to check up nicely on greens where a faster disc might skip away. With a flat-top and low-profile, the Toro is similar to a Rat, but even more overstable.

The Innova Champion Toro Calvin Heimburg Signature Series is a very overstable approach disc. It doesn't glide, it doesn't flip, it's a little meathook that you can rely on for short, accurate, hyzer approaches. The Toro is an excellent choice for the advanced player who wants something they can throw forehand or backhand 50-150 feet to get up and down with.

The flight path of the Toro is going to be very overstable. This disc will travel straight for a moment in the air before it starts to hyzer out and get down to the ground.
